Gabriel first contact with Industrial Property was 17 years ago in the public sector when he started working for the Mexican Trademark Office (MTO), where he stayed for 15 years, 9 of those years as Deputy Trademarks Director.
During that time he got the opportunity to represented Mexico before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, in various Committees of Experts of the Vienna and Nice Union.
From 2010 to date, he has been part of the Roster of Consultants for WIPO with several training missions on Classification to the National Trademark Offices of Central and South America.
Now part of iberbrand as Operations Director, Gabriel contributes on daily bases with his experience to the firm and because of his background occasionally bringing a different approach or perspective on the matters.
Gabriel spends most of his spare time with his family, as for sports sailing is his passion.
