Registration Expertise
In Mexico, you can obtain protection patents (lasting 20 years), utility models (or petit patent, lasting 10 years) and industrial design applications (lasting 5 periods fo a total of 25 years).
Patent and utility model applications can be registered via PCT (Patent Convention Treaty), Paris Convention Treaty or Direct, when no priority right is claimed. Designs applications can only be registered via Paris Convention and Direct.
